Sports Authority of India Assistant Director Recruitment 2026

Sports Authority of India invites applications from eligible retired government officers for the position of Assistant Director on contractual basis. There are 10 tentative vacancies available for qualified candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 5 years experience in administrative matters, sports administration, finance and accounts. The maximum age limit is 64 years as on December 29, 2025.

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive remuneration equivalent to last pay drawn minus pension, along with a fixed transport allowance of ₹10,800 per month. No other allowances or benefits will be provided.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on interview performance. Eligible candidates will be called for interview conducted by the appointed selection committee.
