Introduction: The National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC) is recruiting for 03 positions of Consultant Entomologist on a contractual basis. Eligible candidates with a background in Entomology or Zoology are invited to attend a walk-in interview.
About the Organization
The National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC), formerly known as the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), is a central agency under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It is responsible for the prevention and control of vector-borne diseases in the country.

Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
S-3: Doctoral Degree in Entomology from a recognized university or equivalent with 12 years of experience in Medical Entomology.
S-2: Master's Degree in Zoology/Entomology from a recognized university or equivalent with 7 years of experience in Medical Entomology. A PhD in Medical Entomology is desirable.
S-1: M.Sc. degree in Zoology with Entomology from a recognized university or equivalent with 3 years of experience in teaching, research, or control in Medical Entomology, Malariology, or Filariology.
Age Limit (as on Walk-in Date)
S-3: Maximum 50 years (or below 62 if retired from Govt. of India).
S-2: Maximum 45 years (or below 62 if retired from Govt. of India).
S-1: Maximum 40 years (or below 62 if retired from Govt. of India).
Experience
As mentioned in the qualification criteria for each scale.

Salary
S-3: Rs. 78,800 per month.
S-2: Rs. 67,700 per month.
S-1: Rs. 56,100 per month.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a walk-in interview and shortlisting of candidates according to their qualifications and experience.
