The High Court of Bombay, Appellate Side, invites applications from eligible candidates for temporary positions of Clerk and Peon/Hamal. This recruitment is specifically for candidates who are already on the Select/Wait List of various district courts in Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be on the Select/Wait List for Junior Clerk/Clerk-Typist or Peon/Hamal from the City Civil & Sessions Court, Bombay; Court of Small Causes, Mumbai; Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mumbai; or any District Court in the State of Maharashtra, and must not have been appointed to their respective courts yet.

Salary
Selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary as per the pay scale: Clerk: ₹29,200 - ₹92,300; Peon/Hamal: ₹16,600 - ₹52,400.
Selection Process
Selection is based on the candidate's existing position on the Select/Wait List. This is a temporary appointment subject to the conditions specified in the official notification.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must submit a written willingness through the concerned Principal District Judge of the District Court or the Principal Head of Courts in Greater Mumbai. The application must reach the Bombay High Court office on or before 31 December 2025.
